There are no cutting corners when you are on the water every day.  I use Ranger and Carolina Skiff boats simply because I feel they're the best fishing boats on the market. I've been in many different types of boats and in my opinion, most don't compare. They are extremely buoyant and ride like a dream. They are safe and secure and won't sink, which is important when you're on the water no matter what the conditions. I have a Ranger 364v and a 23 foot Carolina Skiff with all the bells and whistles. They are powered by Mercury and Yamaha Marine and are equipped with Lowrance Sonar and GPS units as well as Icom VHF radios.

Our boats have enclosures and are heated for days when it's just too cold to sit out in the elements.  No matter what time of the year it is, we will be catching fish at Gone Fishing Guide Service.

Once we arrive at our hot spot there is nothing like a high quality Shimano or Abu Garcia reel and a good graphite rod.  In other words, we use the best equipment available...  Take a look!
